Our skin
The skin is the largest organ in our body and is made up of trillions of cells. At birth, our cells are intact, full of life and with optimal hormone and vitamin levels, allowing our skin to be soft, smooth and hydrated. The skin helps us to interact and protect ourselves from the outside, it has a fundamental barrier function.
Over the years, due to contact with the environment (sun, pollution, humidity) and our own vital functions (oxidation) all of which begins to change, initiating the aging process. This causes these cells to lose water and turgor, deteriorating and oxidizing the skin and leading to dehydration, wrinkles and spots.
